A Proper Sunday Roast at Fordmore

Available every Sunday from 18th January

From Sunday 18 January, we’re delighted to introduce the Fordmore Sunday Roast - a new weekly special in our café, celebrating great local produce and quality cooking.

Our Sunday roast is everything it should be: generous, comforting and thoughtfully prepared, using the very best ingredients sourced as locally as possible. All of the meat comes from our own farm, or our trusted local suppliers.

Delicious organically-farmed longhorn beef and Jacob lamb will be from our own herds, our free range pork and gammon from the Snell’s family farm just up the road at Orway, and organic chicken comes from our family’s farm, just across the road from the farm shop. It’s the kind of meal designed to be lingered over, whether you’re catching up with family, meeting friends, or treating yourself to a relaxed Sunday lunch.

What’s on the menu

Each week, our roast will feature:

  • A selection of delicious starters

  • Carefully selected local meat, cooked to perfection

  • Crisp roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables

  • Proper gravy made in-house

  • Vegetarian options, prepared with the same care and flavour

  • Desserts to ensure you finish off in style

Menus may change slightly week to week to reflect what’s freshest and best, ensuring every roast showcases the season.
