Mother’s Day - Sunday 15 March, 2026

We’ve got a very special menu planned to celebrate Mothers’ Day this year.

As well as a very warm welcome, every mum will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco or orange juice on arrival.

Start with tempting dishes such as Thai-style mussels with prawn crackers, garlic & herb gnocchi with lemon and crispy sage, or lamb terrine with pickled carrot and toasted sourdough.

For the main event, choose from: Topside of our own organically-farmed Longhorn beef, honey-glazed roasted gammon from nearby Orway Porch Farm, local turkey crown with herb butter and Fordmore nut roast. All served with crispy roast potatoes, red cabbage, maple-roasted carrots, seasonal greens, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and proper gravy.

And to finish… Fordmore apple crumble, Lemon posset with strawberries and Dark chocolate brownie.
